Called the "knobby knee" kokopelli, for obvious reasons, this character was found by Joel Brisbin near Lowry Ruins during excavation for an irragation project. It features a clever intentional annomaly in the band design; a feature I am becoming more and more an admirer of in prehistoric art. This piece was acquired for a White House display as part of Hillary Clinton's "Save America's Treasures" program and was displayed in the foyer during the 1990-2000 holiday season.
